GERMAN ROAD TAX

The German government has adopted an increase in the road tax (MAUT) with reference to the EU legislation related to CO2 emissions on road transports. It is a significant increase and consequently, we will increase the transport prices in traffics to/from or via Germany. The new road taxes are implemented in two stages:

• 01/12-2023 Increase for industrial transport vehicles with a weight above 7.500 kg.
  
  
• 01/06-2024 Further adjustment of the road tax. Industrial transport vehicles with a weight above 3.500 kg. to be included.

The change in road tax is a legal intervention and we are forced to pass the increased costs to our customers.
